SOUCHES LAMPS
2008 - Limited production
Back to nature, with earth, air wind and fire. These lamps are mouth blown in a wooden mould sculpted from a tree trunk. The glass expands into the mould by the glass blower.
Wooden moulds
Using fire and his agility to work the molten glass, he stretches out a part of the form, evolving it from a primitive to functional object, as this part will house the light fixture.
The difficulty of this project was to avoid a perfectly round shape (given by the moulds) and to work on the connectivity of the elements involved.
